Sleeping

I remember when Grace was first born how I could watch her sleep for hours. She was hypnotic. As Grace got older and her disease progressed we wanted her to be with us at all times and to know that she was not alone. She lay and slept in our arms during the day. Each night, she slept between us in our bed with Alysia holding one of Grace’s hands and I the other.

Grace always looked so peaceful when she slept, like a beautiful angel.
